A Leo Solar Eclipse will be happening on the 13th of August 2026, at 1:35am SGT at 20 degrees of Leo, emphasising the recent nodal shift to Leo and Aquarius, especially with Jupiter and Mercury in Leo as well.
Placements most affected are the fixed signs, Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius, especially placements between 17 to 23 degrees.
Effective Period
Short term: 13th August 2026 1:35am to 28 August 12:17pm, up till the next full moon in Pisces, a Lunar Eclipse.
Long term effective period will be from 13th August 2026 1:35am to 22nd January 2027, 8:17pm, up till the next full moon in Leo, a 6 month period.
The next new moon in Leo speaks of a new cycle in which the house you have Leo in will start a new theme, up to 2nd August 2027 6:05am, a Leo New Moon/Solar Eclipse. A whole 12 month period.
Note that the long term effects apply to whichever house you have Leo in, and specifically if there are points or planets that are aspecting 20 degrees of Leo.
This period is calling for you to ‘re-brand’ yourself. If there isn’t an audience around to applaud you every step of the way, will you still do what you do for the love of it? The main bulk of this energy surrounding the Leo Solar Eclipse is really about the drive and passion to pursue what your heart desires. Chasing after the ‘ideal’ scenario that you want for yourself.
