From the teachings of Jeffrey Wolf Green, we agree with his concept of the four natural evolutionary states, which is further divided into 3 stages within each state. The expression of each planet within one’s natal chart will also be different based on what level they are operating at, affecting not only the natal chart’s expression but also in synastry and composite charts.
1. The Dimly Evolved or De-Evolved State
2-3% of the human population.
Just evolving into human consciousness
Or a de-evolved state from prior-life karmic causes
Dim sense of personal awareness
2. The Herd or Consensus State
75% of the human population
Identifies with societal norms, beliefs, customs and taboos
They do not seriously question or think about their environment of values and identity.
Even if they do, the answers they come to are correct only according to society.
3. The Individuated State
About 20% of the human population
Evolved to questioning beliefs, customs, norms and taboos of society.
To discover own individuality, distinct from society.
To act upon their own natural laws, beliefs, values, needs, customs and taboos.
Vibration of independence
4. The Spiritual State
2-3% of the human population
To understand own life and others’ lives in a universal/holistic context
Desire to understand the nature of all Creation
Link themselves to spiritual ideas or teachings as guiding principles in life. Note that spiritual in this sense is not in the form of religion. Religion is for the consensus.
These evolutionary states are assessed not by looking at your birth chart but rather through conversing with an astrologer. Past life experiences, goals in life and reactions to events that happened in your life are just some of the considerations to properly assess which state you are in.
There are also further delineations with regards to one’s reaction to evolutionary necessities and karmic requirements that will alter your life path and experiences thereafter. These will also be heavily assessed as you may resisting evolutionary/karmic requirements.
