We’ve done Saturn in Aries and Neptune in Aries separately in different posts, what we’re touching on now will be the conjunction of Saturn and Neptune in Aries (how their energies work together), specifically for the next 11-12 months when they are conjunct. The last time a Saturn and Neptune conjunction happened was in 1989, but in the sign of Capricorn. That’s 36 years ago, so conjunctions like this don’t happen often.
Saturn – Restrictions, lessons, boundaries, discipline master who asks if you’ve paid your dues, older, aged, bones, skin.
Neptune – Dreams, illusion and disillusion, spirituality, higher love vibration.
Aries – Charging without much forethought, fire sign and likes to take charge or lead. Cardinal sign that’s able to make changes, but doesn’t necessarily like or want to follow through and end projects, much rather start projects. Aries is also about our self-identity, how we are showing up and approaching things.
Saturn and Neptune in Aries
When Saturn and Neptune both go into Aries, expect the dissolving of structures we have personally infused ourselves with, especially the house in which Aries is in, in your own natal chart, resulting in confusion at first but once we work through it, things will be a lot clearer on why certain things have to happen.
Especially since it’s at 0 and 1 degree in Aries, speaking of pure Aries energy, and of new cycles that are going to start globally and in our individual lives.
Affecting cardinal signs heavily. Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn, or if you have planets in cardinal signs at 0-2 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn. This will also affect those born with a Saturn/Neptune conjunction in their natal birth chart, mostly those born in 1989 and 1952.
Are we being true to ourselves before we even go out into the world? Are we presenting ourselves in the way we want to be perceived? Have we been actively pursuing things aligned to our true path or disillusioned by environmental conditioning and thus pursuing the wrong path?
Note that Saturn is in its fall placement in Aries. Aries likes to charge and go ahead and pursue things. Saturn is slow moving, wants to establish foundations, and take things one step at a time.
This conjunction is also making a sextile to retrograde Pluto in Aquarius. Any lesson that is not learnt or illusion that is not cleared will be more prominent and help to push you to transform it. But for those that have stayed true to their path and persevered through harsh conditions, there will be a positive transformation, maybe even going into higher positions or leadership roles. Just ensure it’s what you want to be doing and not what you’re ‘supposed to’.
On A Macro Scale
1. The use of marijuana (Neptune) may meet with certain restrictions (Saturn).
2. Spirituality (Neptune) may be taught (Saturn) to everyone starting with the foundations of what exactly is spirituality, either by our own actions/curiosity or via the influence of others (venus in Aries trine mars in Leo).
3. Virtual reality (Neptune) meets threshold and boundaries (Saturn), we may be learning more about it or using it as a stepping stone in order to achieve longer term goals.
4. Dreams and subconscious, connection with the divine of all there is, of Source (Neptune), will teach (Saturn) us about reality and how we are stepping into our own sense of self, of how we are approaching our individual world (Aries).

Saturn will leave the full conjunction effects only in April 2026, but still be in Aries up till April 2028, while Neptune will be in Aries up until March 2039. So expect the full effects of this conjunction to take place till April 2026, surrounding confusion, disillusionment, an increase in higher consciousness and dissolving of structures that are no longer serving our highest good.
What to take note of
1. Plan and don’t charge forward
This isn’t a time where you can forge ahead without much planning or foundation. Ensure that any actions you take are calculated and it’s more of a development from prior actions, not totally new ones that have little to no structure in place. If development from prior ones, you may be stepping into leadership, authority, pioneering roles with much to teach others and more responsibilities. There will still be confusion or uncertainty that will only really clear up next year.
2. Higher Vibrational Lessons
These lessons that you face may actually help you in life. While it may appear tough and restrictive or even negative, it’s also of a higher vibrational lesson, possibly from your subconscious, to steer you towards your true self. This is needed in order to energetically align all other aspects in your life.
3. Others Influencing A Reality Check
Friends or others may undergo certain changes in their lives that will affect you and how you view the world, leading to disillusionment of what you may think reality is, or of what your current reality is. This may spark certain interests in spirituality or an understanding of what reality really is about.
4. Higher Vibrational Energies
This really is speaking about higher vibrational energies entering our lives in a hasty and prominent way. The more energetically sensitive ones will be able to feel it already or even notice changes forming in the way they approach their internal and external environment. But as much as it is wanting to enter our lives, there will be some restrictions individually that delay the process of how we are going to be associated with it.
5. Unclear Paths
Saturn is also about long term plans, with Neptune (illusion/disillusion) conjunction, you may not exactly know what certain actions or paths may bring you in the long run. What will help is just to keep taking the next few steps towards a certain goal in mind that you have. Even if it’s something that has not been done before, but you know that it’s what you are being pushed to do.
6. Stay Grounded
It’s important to stay grounded during this long period. Get in touch with nature and your own sense of self. There could be a lot of ‘noise’ from others affecting you. Find that inner peace and what you know to be right for yourself.

This conjunction is happening in your first house, affecting all other areas of your life. You will be feeling this transit a lot more than other signs.
Saturn is ruling your 10th and 11th house of career, hopes and wishes, friendships and goals you want to achieve. Neptune, ruler of Pisces in a modern context, of your 12th house of spirituality, isolation, subconscious.
What career goals or higher self alignment have you been working towards and are they truly right for you? Positively, you may be stepping into higher or more pioneering/individual-based positions. For some, may steer off the path you were on and be more aligned with what you’re meant to be doing, and/or how you’re approaching your life.

This conjunction is happening in your 10th house of career and higher self. With Saturn ruling your 7th and 8th houses, and Neptune ruling your 9th house.
Your career path will face some restriction and confusion, especially if it’s related to foreign dealings or travels. Things may seem unclear, so be sure to clarify anything you’re unsure of with others, even if it’s with an ‘open enemy’. Things with your spouse may also seem unclear with certain boundaries that were in place before. It’s a good time to start navigating through any difficulties.
