There are many sources which speaks about the spiritual nuances of having/being a c-section baby, or of a soul who chose to come to this world via this path. The following information may not apply to c-section babies of whom had parents that chose to ‘play god’ and time the caesarean procedure to ‘get a better birth chart’ for their child. This is more for births that had to resort to c-section due to complications or medical implications.
Natural Birth
When a baby goes through a birth canal a lot of things get activated in the baby. It’s an extremely stressful experience that is both taxing on the mother and the baby. Part of it requires the baby to demonstrate its will to live, speaking about how the baby starts to fight for their own life, to exit on the other side.
So the baby starts interacting with energy in the way the baby hasn’t had to before. The baby used to be provided for by their mother up until the point they are in the birth canal and time to exit. What ends up happening for the baby to go through the birth canal successfully is their internal fire needs to be activated. Their internal fire kicks in, their fighter spirit. That masculine, energy of aggression. That root chakra needs to be activated by the baby for the baby to be birthed successfully.
This is also why certain bits take so long as the mother cannot do all the pushing. In other words, the mother cannot do 100 percent of the work. The baby has to participate in the birthing process. If the baby is in a state of resistance, the baby’s in a state of fear, doesn’t want to access their masculine energies, the birth process is going to take longer.
C-Sections Are Planned At A Soul Level
C-sections are most likely planned, at a soul level, serving a great purpose for the baby. There is a particular kind of soul/baby that would sign up to be delivered via a C section. The baby wants to go through certain lessons.

Relationship to Masculinity
Most are going to have a hard time relating to or have a harder relationship with their father. May attract tyrannical fathers or a relationship where they can’t understand their father’s actions or masculine energies in general.
Boundaries/Blocked Root Chakra
When you’re born naturally, there is a natural aggression pushing through the birth canal, igniting one’s root center. If that didn’t happen, you’re coming into this world with a suboptimal root center. So a lot of these c section babies are going to have either an under activated root chakra or a blocked root chakra. This means issues with safety. Not feeling safe within your body, issues with not being able to tell no to people when you actually mean no, not being able to protect your interests, allowing people to abuse you and harder to say this is my territory, you cannot do this to me. That aggression hasn’t been rooted enough for those babies.
Anger Outlets
They also don’t know how to deal with anger, so there’s a lot of suppressed anger, leading to autoimmune diseases, allergies. A need to practice grounding and find various forms of outlets for that energy to dissipate.
More Feminine Energy
They are very ‘soft’, bringing very beautiful feminine energies, very gentle hearts, sensitive, easy to hurt. That unprotected femininity, vulnerability. They usually feel deeper and are more empathetic than others. More aware of other people in the room, most like to adjust and be flexible to others. They would always try to and seek to adapt to their parents or whoever else they’re sharing their experience with.
Receptive and Absorbs Energy
More sensitive than others. Extremely wise and extremely aware from the get go. Feel very deeply. For parents, to be a conscious parent and do your own healing as much as you can because your own energy is going to affect your baby.
Lower Self Esteem
Really loud inner critic. Harder to take action in the physical world. A little bit more on the daydreamer side. Like fantasy. Anything that’s not of this world. Losing themselves in games, or anything that isn’t of this reality. Harder to subscribe to traditional societal templates around achieving and getting good grades. Because they didn’t really have to fight at the beginning of their life, it’s harder for them to subscribe to the things that everybody else subscribes to. So it’s almost like they see right through society, and everything that’s wrong with it. It’s kind of like a soft rebellion but they are just as likely to become ambivalent. They don’t like taking action. A need to withdraw into themselves. It’s a silent rebellion.
Find Oneself
Challenge is to find themselves. What is making them happy. Finding their purpose in life, calling, career path that they enjoy. To focus within to get these answers.
Characteristics
- They may choose not to build a career with all their energy or like make a lot of money. Cause they are like ’that’s rubbish’.
- Very community oriented. Very people oriented. Very mindful of the needs of others and the desires of others. They can be incredible friends as they are very giving and generous, selfless in some ways.
- More likely to be spiritual, developing spiritual gifts early in life. Incredible if they pursue spiritual obligations as the heart is wide open. A lot of natural born healers come through this path.
- A lot with very active third eye, intuitive feminine gifts, seers, clairvoyance, clairsentience.
- Easy for their higher chakras to be open because energy didn’t get distributed to lower center, the root chakra, so energy has to go somewhere and it went up to higher centers.
Interpretations From Other Sources
- Naturally Open Higher Chakras
- Nature had to be bypassed to protect, hide or accelerate their destiny. Spirits that are bright, divine, uncontaminated. If they passed through birth canal, they would’ve absorbed ancestral earthly karma.
- Some spirits are sent here to correct, not collect, requiring them to be ‘clean’.
- High sensitivity to death energy, seeing spirits or visiting graveyards in dreams
- Quiet but powerful aura
- More likely to remember dreams in detail, long after they have woken up

Personal Account
Personally, I was also delivered via C-section, which is a whole story by itself since it involves what Dolores Cannon speaks about of the afterlife due to major complications.
While most of what Mariya has said is true, especially that of the root chakra, things shifted when my root chakra was activated, which led to an immediate unplanned kundalini awakening. And when you combine it with astrology, more specifically evolutionary astrology, having to relive dynamics from prior lives due to skipped steps, up until the first saturn return. It’s obvious why it didn’t happen sooner.
