Everyone can calculate their own birth charts, to see which planets are in which house/sign themselves, then finding out more about the planet individually in their signs.
There are plenty of sites that are able to calculate your birth chart when you input your details. While we use a professional software, these two sites are strongly recommended.

Steps to calculate your own birth chart
- Head to astro-seek.com
- Find Free Horoscopes
- Click on Birth Chart
- Input your details: Date of Birth, Time of Birth, Location of Birth
- Click on Extended Settings
- Under House System, click on Whole Sign
- Click on Calculate chart
To Note: Without a birth time, the rising/ascendant won’t be accurate and therefore the whole chart can’t be fully interpreted. One’s birth time is still needed to know one’s rising/ascendant sign. Only then will the planets and positions of the planets be useful.
Below the chart, there are some interpretations of the planets and what signs the planets are placed in.
It’s a good basic understanding of how each individual planet relates to one another, giving you an idea of your own chart.
What an astrologer does, is to interpret the chart as a whole, and give more information about how your whole natal chart works, and also with various techniques to find out other information from your natal chart.
